This album came out of 2 improvisational recording sessions done in the wine cave at DRNK Winery. Primarily solo meanderings on a Kurd 9 Pantam and CFoulke Celtic 9 Handpan, there are things to say and acknowledgments to be made.

To my Magic of Music improv buddies Cheryl Ulrich (harp & vocals) and Patricia Hatfield (guitar, tabla & vocals); blessings and appreciation for the ever expanding wonder of the spontaneous music we make. (Tracks 11, 12, & 13)

Julia Dvorin, thank you for taking the cover photo and sharing in the delight of playing when there are “no wrong notes.” (Track 10)

Noodling around one night on the Celtic 9, I discovered a hauntingly beautiful melody. I explored it for hours into the night. Next morning I heard my Aunt Adele had passed. Whenever I play it, I imagine the music reached her as she transitioned, and remember her. (Track 3)

Thank you Zoltan Lakner and Colin Foulke for your music, which inspired variations on track 5 and 9.
